This colourful and vibrant set from Pimpernel contains a tray and two mugs of excellent quality to enjoy with coffee, tea, and all sorts of hot beverages. The melamine tray pairs with the porcelain cups to render them beautiful and practical pieces that are also dishwasher safe for added convenience. The Strawberry Thief collection and its incredible designs were developed together with Morris & Co. in 1875. The highly detailed and ever-charming pattern tells the story of William Morris, a man who tried over and over to cultivate strawberries at his manor. Despite his best efforts, however, every year the harvest was ruined as the precious fruits were eaten by covetous birds. The design reflects the enduring mythos of the legendary gardener and his plight, and to this end the Strawberry Thief has become one of Morris’ most successful and striking designs.
