Åry Home Bachelor’s Button place mat, 2-pack Yellow Best

This 2-pack of Bachelor’s Button place mats comes to us from Åry Home. Each one bears an elegant floral pattern in pristine white set against a lovely warm shade of yellow. The highly intricate motif was designed in 1892 by Arts & Crafts artist William Morris and depicts an ensemble of cornflowers. These flowers are sometimes referred to as “bachelor’s buttons” in old folk tales, which is where the piece derives its name. These exquisite place mats protect surfaces from food and crumbs while serving as a gorgeous canvas for elegant plates and dinnerware.
